Make a Difference, Provide an Alternative
Innovative Bio-Energy Production
Using native, oil producing seeds from balanced, permaculture ecosystems, which include other edible and medicinal plants; together, we can create sustainable energy that powers our communities and homes while nourishing our local ecology; and in turn, the global environment as a whole. By recovering heat and electricity generated from Bio-Diesel powered engines, ECOWAHPHI maps out the method for transesterifying (refining raw oil into biodiesel) seed oils in a closed-loop, zero-waste system, while powering the equipment to transform excess biomass into organic materials. When we use the byproducts of this process along with well-rounded permaculture harvests as resources for things like food, soil amendments, animal feedstocks, textiles, bioplastics, and of course, bio-energy production within our communities, we'll be reducing the demand on long haul shipping, fossil fuels, grid electricity, and chemical landscaping while performing responsible management of our forests, soils, lands, and water; remaining carbon neutral and transforming maintenance liabilities into economic upliftment all at once.
The nutrient-rich wash water from biodiesel refinement, normally a waste-product and environmental liability, will be purified in constructed wetland aquaponic systems. This will rebalance the water while providing balanced nutrients for our gardens; perpetuating the cycle and creating a truly sustainable loop.
Regenerative Agriculture
Well balanced, wild-species permaculture is core to our method. Using regionally adaptable systems; we focus on growing thriving ecosystems full of natural herbs, medicines, foods, materials, and energy everywhere. To achieve this, we encourage individuals, businesses, and publicly owned land management agencies to grow diverse gardens full of local plants along with us through our affiliated Wild At Heart Biomass Contribution Profit Sharing Program, revitalizing soil and ecosystems on a massive scale while boosting local economies by using our facilities to transform your renewables into resources.
Recycling and 3D Printing
We're integrating low-impact plastic and aluminum recycling into our regional hubs, and partnering with innovators who work with these materials to reduce landfill use and promote circular economies.
Research and Education
ECOWAHPHI welcomes collaborative research partnerships across disciplines, recognizing that the future of regenerative industry depends on innovation, data, and collective insight. We actively seek partnerships with academic institutions, independent researchers, private companies, government agencies, and NGOs to explore and advance critical fields including regenerative agriculture, biofuel science, biomaterials development, native plant ecology, carbon neutral energy systems, environmental restoration, sustainable water treatment, self-sustaining architecture, and zero-waste processing technologies. Our initiative will provide living labs through its regional hubs and mobile PRIMED units—real-world sites and tools where theory meets practice and research translates directly into community impact. Through these collaborations, we aim to develop new methods for scalable permaculture, quantify carbon, soil, and human health benefits, validate the economic potential of public land regeneration, refine biodiesel production from native crops, and expand ecological archaeology. Research outcomes will help secure grants, shape policy, and strengthen the scientific foundation that supports our nature-based PHI environmental, economic, and energetic scaling philosophy. Together, we can generate actionable knowledge that not only sustains communities, but transforms them into engines of ecological and economic renewal.
